Carquest Auto Parts is hiring a full time Auto Parts Counter Person to join our team, Burley, ID.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Other duties may be assigned.
-Assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner,provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
-Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, ensures that the customer isexposed to the full product line and follows up on back-ordered parts.
-Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
-Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization, issues credit for parts returned.
-Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer/customers receive their copy of the invoice.
-Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
-Maintains professional appearance.
QUALIFICATIONS-Two (2) years parts sales experience.
-Basic computer knowledge with good communication skills.
-Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and driving record investigation.
-Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees.
-Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS-Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach and handle tools.
-Occasionally requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
-Frequently required to walk to all areas of the facility, both indoors and outdoors.
-Frequently required to walk in or around environments where customers conduct their business.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
