Job Description
Supervises and provides culinary expertise in food preparation, assuring proper food production techniques are applied according to menu, recipe requirements, and department standards.
Entry Rate: $14.13
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Shift Details: Variable, Will need to be available to work some weekends and holidays
Department: Food Services
Additional Details: Full-time position at Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley, ID. This is a benefits eligible position (Medical, Dental, etc)
Minimum Requirements
Five years retail/institutional food service experience including one year of supervisory experience
Culinary training from an recognized program
Read, write, and communicate effectively
Customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions
Basic computer and math skills
Food Handler's Permit as required by county
ServSafe Certification required within 90 days
Physical Requirements
Carrying, Climbing, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking
Preferred Qualifications
Hospital food service experience
Inventory control, costing, and forecasting experience.
