Accounting Manager Controller
Position Description:

Basic Functions:
The controller position will accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, the development and maintenance of an accounting information system, the document retention system, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The position will oversee all general ledger accounting functions including sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.
Qualifications:
The controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business related field, work experience of 3
years in a manufacturing, cost accounting or process costing work environment. Preference will be given to candidates with a graduate degree in business management, accounting or related field. A background in agriculture, particularly cattle operations is a plus, but not required.
Working Conditions:
Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries, as well as to potential acquisitions, to conduct due diligence. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position will be $72,000 to $88,000 depending on qualifications. There will be a moving allowance offered to eligible candidates. Temporary housing can be made available for a period of time to be determined.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
